Ian Wilkinson FarmEd.JPG

"INSPIRING, ENERGISING,
ENGAGING..."

That was the verdict of visitors to LandAlive, the new regenerative farming and sustainable food conference for the South West, held at the Bath & West Showground, on 22/23 November 2024.

Organised by the charity Sustainable Food Somerset, in collaboration with the Royal Bath and West of England Society and supported by Somerset Council, the event attracted more than 80 speakers, 50 exhibitors and 550 delegates, ranging from farmers and growers, to soil scientists, policy makers and community food volunteers.

FEEDBACK FROM OUR SPEAKERS

MERRICK DENTON-THOMSON

Former President,
Landscape Institute

The energy, knowledge and enthusiasm in the room was so powerful. It was by far the best conference I have ever attended – and I have attended a lot.

DR LUCY WILLIAMSON

Vet-turned-nutritionist, specialising in the connection between soil and gut health

Farmers, academics, educators, health practitioners, innovative thinkers, conscious citizens and many more in the same room. That was why LandAlive was brilliant to be part of.

MARIANNE MCHUGH

Business Information Point/
Future Farming Resilience

It was a great event, absolutely buzzing, with some fascinating discussions in the plenaries and the breakout rooms: very well done, indeed. A pleasure and a privilege to take part.
